The day for Heritage

It's fun to remember days past, and what things were like years ago. Even better, are hearing the stories behind old photos. Stories from the past are much better when they come from family, I have learned. You learn much more about your family this way. Your heritage is so important, even if you don't think so now, you will figure it out eventually.

This talk of heritage leads us to today's layout, which was done for the most recent Pink Ninja prompt, "Heritage"

This is my mother when she was in her late teens, early twenties I believe. Ok, so I haven't gotten the whole story out of her yet, about the photo, but that is why the envelope for the journaling is empty! I am planning on writing the story behind the photo and then placing it in the envelope!

If you get a chance, please come over to the Ninja blog and see what the other gals did! They are awesome! Not only that, but play along with us! We love to see what you've created!!

  1. What a fun page! It seems that you look a lot like your momma! Have fun getting that story out of her :)
