Wonderfully You and So Sad - From 52 Sketches...52 Weeks

I used the sketchs from week 3 and week 9  over at 52 Sketches...52 Weeks, one of my favorite new places to go for sketches. Julie has some fabulous sketches over there! They also have some pretty cool prize packs as well!

Wonderfully You (Week 3's Sketch): I did this layout about Austin, my little man. I snapped these black & white shots of him as he was saying goodbye to Keith one afternoon this past summer. I just stood in front of him and started snapping pictures without even looking at what I was taking pictures of! Some of them turned out great!

The background cardstock is Cosmo Cricket, the middle paper is Cricut paper, and the front and center cardstock is Cosmo Cricket as well. I used Making Memories paint around the edge to frame it... mainly because I had messed up some journaling originally!  The title rubon is Creative Imaginations, and the gears on the corner are chipboard Maya Road.

So Sad (Week 9's Sketch): This layout is once again about Austin and I took this picture recently actually. He was playing dominoes in the living room and was trying to build a bridge, but it just wasn't working. Every time it fell over, he would get so upset. Finally, instead of throwing a huge fit like before he cried. I had to take a picture, even though he yelled about it afterward!

White cardstock is Bazzill, Felt paper is Creative Imaginations, the bottom circle with the journaling is Creative Imaginations, and the top circle is Bo Bunny paper. I used American Crafts Thickers for the title painted with Making Memories acrylic paints, Petaloo flowers, and Bo Bunny ribbon and dots for the center of the flowers.

The things around him are gear chipboard pieces by Maya Road. I just bought them from a online store.
