Ok, so Kristy had me so inspired with her take on this challenge at her blog My Corner of the Studio that I had to do my take on this challenge. I knew immediately what I had to talk about for this one.
This challenge can be found at Punk Rock Scrappers.
BTW, they totally rock over there!
It says, " Is it really better to have loved and lost than to never loved at all? I don't know... I do know I SUCK at this love thing. I'm so unlucky. I sometimes wonder if I am even meant to be with someone 4ever. Eric, Miles, Dan, Billy... the list goes on. Why do I have 2 be unlucky in love? "
One of my favorite parts of the layout is the man and woman at the bottom... he is holding her heart in his hands and there is a hole where her heart should be.... a black hole. How I feel about my failed relationships. The floss is to try and put the heart or love back together, but as you can see, it isn't really working.
I used Bazzill cardstock, Making Memories Acrylic paints, Coorugated cardboard, Rusty Pickle letters for "Lucky" and Creative imaginations for the "un-" The man and woman are Maya Road and the floss is Bazzill. The "in" is American Crafts Thickers.
Let me know what ya think!

This is an very "rock and roll" and so sad ....but a great job!
ReplyDeleteWe all have a dark side, and our little secrets ... I am divorced (divorce horrible), I had ups and downs ... (many downs), but we know, you and me, that there is a better life after that!
Finally, it is not "wicked" this layout, it just shows that you are a woman fought! Decided not to let life (and men) you bully ...
Wicked is a really, really good thing,,,,, you know that - rightttt??? I hope,,, I love this layout!!! :-)
